HB1 Network

"Uniting and Celebrating The HBCU Community."

HB1 is dedicated to showcasing HBCU life both on and off campus as well as spotlighting alums who are using their degrees to do life-changing work in their communities and around the world.

The Why, The How, The Know

Content created for HBCUs, by HBCU alumni and current students.

The Why

HB1 Network is a digital platform designed showcase the best in sports, culture, and campus life in the HBCU community. By providing an outlet for these schools, their programs, and students to be highlighted, HB1’s goal is to assist in increasing enrollment, sponsorships/financial-engagement, and to showcase success stories from over 100 HBCUs.

The How

From social interactions and promos to HBCU media tours and sponsored events, HB1 will always provide an authentic HBCU experience. These events along with creative brainstorming allow us to provide exclusive and original content to those interested in HBCUs, those currently attending, and those who want to relive their time on the yard.

The Know

The countless hours of video production and one-on-one interviews allow us to share the tales of past and present HBCU students. There are endless stories that lie in the walls of these historic schools that need to be told. We are the storytellers. As our mission states, we look forward to “Uniting and Celebrating the HBCU community!”

From culture and fashion to tradition and admission, he wants this network to be a beacon for all who are currently attending, have attended, are thinking about attending, or are just fascinated with historically black colleges and universities. He’s provided internship opportunities and mentorship to HBCU students through the network in hopes of helping make them well-rounded journalists.
